I bet every stitch of clothes in “Gods and Generals” was period accurate, but it’s still Neo-confederate drivel, and worst of all boring.
Saving Private Ryan is also not a “true story” doesn’t make it any worse, it’s inspired by true events.
Butt the battle scenes are amazing. His portrayal is horrible though.
