SEGA recently revealed the new Crazy Taxi: World Tour, a game many were excited about but it's another that was instantly hit with controversy thanks to AI.
We all have. Where people can’t enjoy a video game because it was created using cutting edge technology they disapprove of, that they wouldn’t even know was used if the information wasn’t volunteered.
I’m talking, of course, about computers. I would have been fine enjoying this game while believing they did it all with pen and paper, but noooooo, they have to ruin that by telling us they damaged the planet a bit more by using computers - which everyone knows uses electricity, and that invariably harms the environment. Plus, computers can be used in the creation of child porn! And piracy! The whole tech is tainted by possibility.
How are we supposed to enjoy the game now, knowing the climate was damaged because a piracy-enabling and child-porn-exchanging device was used in the games creation? They just shouldn’t have told us. Ignorance is bliss, am I right?
I hope they learn their lesson for Crazy Taxi: Universe Tour and either don’t use computers, or they keep their big mouths shut so I can just enjoy the game!
