Kinda funny because generative ai is used to abuse children, you see a new controversy on the news related to schools fairly often
Oh, yes, you’re so very correct. I’ve even heard that generative AI runs on the blood of babies, and every time you use it someone loses their soul. And every time you send it a prompt it steals all the art around you, and it can never be recovered - it’s just gone for good. It’s a stochastic parrot that only outputs forgeries, and paradoxically it only creates slop and hallucinations. Demons wish they could be so evil as AI.
That’s why I’ve never used AI and never will.

We all have. Where people can’t enjoy a video game because it was created using cutting edge technology they disapprove of, that they wouldn’t even know was used if the information wasn’t volunteered.
I’m talking, of course, about computers. I would have been fine enjoying this game while believing they did it all with pen and paper, but noooooo, they have to ruin that by telling us they damaged the planet a bit more by using computers - which everyone knows uses electricity, and that invariably harms the environment. Plus, computers can be used in the creation of child porn! And piracy! The whole tech is tainted by possibility.
How are we supposed to enjoy the game now, knowing the climate was damaged because a piracy-enabling and child-porn-exchanging device was used in the games creation? They just shouldn’t have told us. Ignorance is bliss, am I right?
I hope they learn their lesson for Crazy Taxi: Universe Tour and either don’t use computers, or they keep their big mouths shut so I can just enjoy the game!

Not as good as boycotting a game because of a tool they used that you wouldn’t even know they used if they hadn’t disclosed it. That’s a far better argument.

In My Summer Car, the (singular) dev put a few paintings in the player character’s home that were made with AI.
He got lots of hate for it, and someone eventually created a mod that replaces the AI artwork with a real artist’s paintings……which he had downloaded from the internet and put in his mod without compensating, attributing, asking or informing the artist in any way…
