Curiously, these were very egalitarian and people only worked for about 20 hours a week, and the varied lifestyle and diet was optimal for our health. I think the disagreement here is in definitions, whether hunter gatherer groups are a society.
Fair point. My mother tongues have slightly different definitions for their words for "society"
