Concrete certainly isn’t airtight, neither is a gold encasement most likely. Worms, bacteria, water, all kinds of fun creatures and elements are likely able to get in, so the look may well be accurate by now.
His coffin was gold wasn’t it? And incased in concrete too. I would have thought that would delay decomposition somewhat, but I’m not an expert.
I don’t think if bodies are well embalmed they decay very much.
