I’m a big fan of the book. Couldn’t stand the movie.

I was really surprised because, while I have a track record of hating adaptations of books I’ve read, a lot of my friends that had read the book absolutely loved the movie. So I thought maybe it would be okay, even if I didn’t love it. But I couldn’t finish the movie at all, I didn’t even make it halfway.

Out of curiosity, have you watched and read 2001: A Space Odyssey? How did that comparison go, if you have?

I had to pay $19.99 for that last one :(

I recently read all the discworld novels as well, but I took everyone’s advice about not reading them in release order and I really regretted it. I swapped to release order partway through and it was so much better.

I had a friend that was coerced into doing promo for this game and the team were really condescending. I got a lot of bad cash-grabby vibes from them, I’m staying away from this one.
