Did you have to do any special configuration, or was it a seamless installation just like a non-mac laptop?
Mine is deciding whether to start with a “Hi <name>” when replying, or just directly responding without a greeting, usually when there’s already been a lot of back and forth or I’m getting annoyed at the person.
Right, but the distros employees are allowed to use are dictated by corporate IT so they are able to control them and have the required endpoint security tools. So people who prefer linux have very limited options.
Most of our sysads use macOS. A few use linux but they have limited choices with distros and can only use fedora I think.
I always buy merch as it’s worth more than any amount a band earns from streaming. I wish more bands have shirts that aren’t just black though. I’d estimate only a quarter of the artists I’ve seen have shirts of a different color.
As a fellow prog enjoyer, you’re all good and I appreciate you sharing your own insight on the Genesis eras.
Should’ve posted without the name and let people notice it. Still funny though.
Subway has a huge ad presence in Korea and you’ll see a lot of shows where characters are eating it.
This doesn’t actually relate to the topic, but wanted to ask anyway since it’s the latest post:
For folks working on cloud environments, do you use an interconnected environment between two or more cloud providers? For example, having a production environment with one provider but federating identity on another provider. I ask because my current job is very silo’ed, as in every component of our infra is with one CSP only. I was just wondering how common it is in the industry.
Do you ever win? Flush is too fast. Unless you wait until the very last dribbles to flush.
Yeah it really actually only takes a couple of big users moving to Mastodon to cause a domino effect of a mass migration. I hope more people with tons of followers start moving over.
I get a ton of sales calls especially after attending conferences and I usually ignore calls coming from another state. Some of them realize it though and let a local rep call instead, and I usually pick up because it might be important.
barely fill one bag
Right? That’s another pet peeve of mine, the inefficiency. I bring up to 6 bags sometimes and somehow they manage to use all of them for a small haul of groceries, and randomly mixed too (bread smushed in with cans, raw meat mixed with hygiene products, etc.)
I get it, they’re not paid enough to be that meticulous; that’s why I’d rather do it myself.
I personally prefer to use the self-checkout lane because I want my groceries bagged in a specific way (raw meat in one bag, cans/bottles in another, etc.). It’s infuriating when I line up my groceries in order on the conveyor and the bagger just stuffs them in the bags randomly anyway.
I thought the thumbnail was some sort of deep sea millipede.
I tried searching for this. Is it the one where you can see her boobs?
The only issue is the older ones tend to be very loud especially when they turn on in the middle of the night.
Why is he touching it though.
Like the scent of freshly cut grass, until you realize they produce it as a call of distress.
