How does the initial advice work for guys?
I don’t have accessories, am I supposed to take one shoe off or something??

Stephen King has written a lot of books, and a lot of shops promote those books far more than others.
This is just a nice way to give other authors a bit of promotion, I think even Stephen King himself wouldn’t be opposed to this.
That’s not completely unreasonable tbh, but I still think the current sanctions are fair if not perfect.
I didn’t purposely misread, this part was just a bit unclear:
If you work for ANY company in ANY country that produces weapons for war
Wouldn’t that stop nearly every country from being able to contribute?
Sounds like a convoluted way of saying to just let the Russians off, veiled as some over the top “consistency” argument.
Maybe let’s do that tho, and just start with Russia 😆
So you think they’re against the invasion of Ukraine, and would like to see Israel hit with sanctions as well?
Because that wasn’t the impression I was getting.
I think we can all agree that what Russia and Israel are doing is horrific. Israel should be sanctioned as well, rather than letting Russia off…

Yeah, Lemmy loves to talk about how this won’t work and they’ve moved to Plex, but overall it’s been working great for Netflix.
Eventually the bubble will burst and people will start to drop Netflix, but that’s a way off.
I think the gunplay is fun, it just goes for more of a “realism” approach.
Not saying it’s great, but it’s enjoyable and a good component in the context of how the entire game plays imo.
It’s not supposed to be snappy, it’s made to be kinda slow and almost purposely clunky. For me that’s always made the gun fights quite tense and punishing in a good way.
I did try to make a point of saying it’s not a knock on the game… I really like DE.
My whole point is that the story and art are everything to the game, so if you take those away from the studio then there’s not much of note left.
I’m not saying it should’ve been a battle royale instead 😂
I know DE is dead, but I have questions about anything this studio could put out.
It’s not meant as a knock on the game, but what did DE even have besides the universe, writing and art design?
The rest of the game was fairly basic and just supplemented the story and art. Voice acting was the only other thing that really stood out to me.
Disco Elysium’s lead writer and designer Robert Kurvitz and art director Aleksander Rostov are not involved.
They seem like major people to lose considering those were the strongest areas of the game…
Hopefully there’s still enough talent on the team to make something great, but I wouldn’t go in with high expectations at this point.
Isn’t this studio basically dead now?
I heard all the good devs left after Redfall was a trash live service game that they all hated working on.
I like how they only gave a passing mention to Redfall and then said “Finally, “DEATHLOOP” allowed us to explore time in a playful way”, when Deathloop actually came out before Redfall…
Seriously, don’t have any expectations from Arkane anymore, it’s not the same studio that made Dishonored or Prey.
Mine used to scream at me for being lazy all the time, and now she wonders why I don’t talk to her about anything 🤷♂️
For me, it will always be four hours and I will somehow wake up with the driest mouth on the planet.
From what I’ve seen and heard it’s an okay game, just seems like it could be so much more.
Ubisoft is basically a franchise at this point, so companies with IPs can give them to Ubisoft and they’ll make it fit their game formula.
Problem is, even though they might try and tweak it occasionally, that formula is now 12 years old.
I thought you were joking for a second 😆
That’s a big role for her.
If it were the original guy bringing it back then it would be worth talking about, but this whole thing is just a massive nothingburger.
Just some crypto bros who picked up the name for clicks, there is no actual story.
Annapurna claims they didn’t have enough time to collect developer contact information to alert them sooner
I mean, that’s just utter BS. In two weeks you couldn’t find a phone number or email address for your customers??
Sounds like a shit show of a company and the previous employees made the right move.
