Exactly. Valve/Steam wants their title only on their own platform. As does Epic with their financed title. So I don’t get that exclusivety thing. Everybody’s doing it. Some more, some less, but they do. Oh wait, gog did publish their own titles on other platforms as well.
I’m still waiting for the Half Life games to be released on GOG. I wonder why it will never happen…?
First thing everybody has to learn about computers: Don’t get attached to a brand/company.
2015 the core i7 gave me the most performance for my money. Last year it was the 7800x3D.
I had mostly AMD GPUs, but last year I got a 4700 because it’s power consumption was unbeatable for the performance it has.
Always buy the best stuff you can get for your money, don’t give a fuck about the companies.
And please never forget the Multiverse of Soldier of Fortune 2, with their alternate timeline of Robot Humans. That was for me the most rediculous thing in my gaming career!
To be fair, it has gotten a lot better. Games rarely get censored anymore. Dying Light 2 comes to mind. The Index also has become rare, also the complete confiscation.
But yes, I’m with you, the authorities have to go, the European classification should be enough!
Yes, the RX 6600 is even cheaper and a great FullHD card. Two years ago I paid 600 Euros for that card because my old one broke down (worst timing), and that was the cheapest card to get at that time that did not suck.
Last time I checked it was at 220 €, good price (again).
It’s actually more interesting than I first thought. The amount of small steps to lower the time (a different key stroke, a shot from the pistol at the right moment) is insane for a casual player like me.

“[…]these micotransactions grant more frequent access to features many gamers deem essential for any action RPG. This includes fast travel and character customisation.”
Wait, what? Seriously devs?
Same. The moment you don’t understand the dialogue then it’s not important, that moment it’s about atmosphere. Worked great for me. I enjoyed the sound mixing in this movie!
Or in the beginning released beautiful boxes, with lots of information on the developers, they were a piece of art. Hence the name Electronic Arts.
They started as a great little company.
Holy shit, a new Dune RTS!! I did not know!!!
…only on Steam. Well, fuck. Back to Dune 2000.
For me it was the other way around. FMA had the better story with a drift at the end into the twilight zone, while FMAB drifted into a generic action show. I never understood the hype.
I don’t think I would like to play a big title on a small screen, that would be like watching Dune on your phone. But for smaller Indies it actually could make sense, like puzzle games. But I guess I’ll stick to my PC.
So it’s more for casual gaming, the advantage over a phone is having physical buttons. That makes sense, thank you. I thought they would be used as the primary gaming machine which baffled me.
Might be a stupid question, but why is everybody head over heels about mobile game consoles? First the Steam thing, I believe ASUS has something like this in the works, now AMD. Why?
Who likes playing their big games on a tiny screen? I wouldn’t want to play Cyberpunk on a mini monitor while I have a 4k Display at home…
What am I missing? Because it’s cheaper than a PC?
Don’t forget Soldier of Fortune 2 where they replaced all humans with robots and invented a whole new backstory.
Humans created robots, robots staged an uprising, killed all humans. Robots took over the lifes of humans because that was all they knew. That’s why there were robot druglords, robot hobos, robot police men, robot scientists, and so on.
This is not a joke.
