It was much nicer time as the inventions actually served the working people and development made sense. Now many could work from home but that’s somehow considered bad and sensless policies are put up against it.

1·3 months agoThat’s likely a kernel issue. Happened to me also like a year ago. After updating to the latest kernel I have not had any problems.
Could also be that the card is not staying in the pci-e slot or is sagging as I have seen this happen often with heavier cards. It causes black screen, instability and performance issues in general.

1·3 months agoAs far as I know Mint and if things have not changed lately then Pop_OS as well has old kernel. Use distro with up to date kernel. For gaming a rolling release is usually a good option as the performance updates arrive early.

214·3 months agoAs salty as I am from earlier experiences with Nvidia the modern Nvidia cards do work just fine on Linux.

I think people at Ubisoft should just quit and start their own competing game studio.
If this type of leading results to profits then almost any does.
