How do you feel about people who refuse to use ride-share like Uber because it’s exploiting labor? I don’t want to give them any money because fuck them, but some of my friends say the drivers need money so refusing to use it is only hurting them.

Most of the people I know who live here don’t have rich parents. But I’ve definitely known people from money who move here, and go directly to an expensive apartment.
It’s a horrible policy that people stop paying social security tax at like $200k or something. That’s backwards. The first $50k or so should be untaxed, and it should ramp up from there.

Telling people “use more ai” was always a profoundly stupid direction. “Ship more stuff faster, use AI if it helps, get paid the same” would be anti-labor but at least sensible.
If selling widgets the customer probably doesn’t care if you used a screwdriver or a drill. They just want their widget. Mandating drill usage is stupid.

I’m sure bloodborne has a very deep story. I had a great time just hitting stuff with that axe and occasionally shooting things. That’s the bulk of the content.
Windows is pretty bad. Microsoft should be split up. If I had the magic powers, its leadership would be stripped of wealth, barred from holding similar positions for life, and have their faces on some sort of wall of shame. Everyone is allowed to throw trash at them, and they have to pick it up.

I read that’s why they did this: to force people to use it wirelessly. Not sure that’s really a big win. Wired mice are just fine with me.
There’s this consistent line through modern history: right wing ideas are bad. It keeps happening. Right wing politicians have power, they do stuff, and it goes badly for most people. And then, somehow, few people learn, not enough decide “hurting the outgroup isn’t worth my own suffering”, and they get elected again.
