I agree, he’s likely done everything he could to make sure people don’t figure out a way to get rid of him. I’m definitely not saying he was a passive participant in the phenomenon. He’s been there for a long time now. I’m just saying he’s more of a symptom of the greater cause that is the sick fucking thing called russian culture. Getting rid of putin alone won’t fix things any more than getting rid of trump in the US will there.

Main problem isn’t putin. Problem is russian culture. Putin is just the latest turd to float to the top.

What makes you convinced economic collapse and civil war are coming to the UK?

Have you ever moved from one country to another? I’ve done it five times in my life. Every time took a large amount of doing, and required money to both move and get started in the new place. Had to find jobs and an affordable place to live. Had to get through the immigration procedures (either have a well-paying job lined up when you move or have a local spouse). Had to learn new languages and adapt to the local cultures. Had to build new social connections. And more.

With that in mind, how many people can we honestly say are able to just pick up and move? And the list of new places to go to, where the conditions are favorable, is quickly shrinking.
