Where do you get your drm free music? I’ve been using Spotify for a while but am very interested in switching. Do you use Bandcamp? Do they have basically everything a person could want or do you get your music from somewhere else?
I worked at a gas station about 20 years ago. Even then it would be impossible for someone to give away gas in this way.
Before the pump turns on, either the customer would have to authorize the transaction with a credit card, or an employee would have to manually authorize the transaction if they were paying with inside the store. If the gas wasn’t paid for, it would be immediately obvious by the end of the day that the till (or books or whatever) was short. To clear out the transaction without paying, we’d have to push some buttons on the register to declare that the customer drove off, and essentially accuse them of stealing, get the manager to check the security cams for the license plates, etc. No one could use that pump until the previous transaction was cleared out.
Maybe some gas stations worked differently, but I doubt any big chain ones had less security than that.

Bruce Springsteen and Bon Jovi would pour a drink out in your honor

Plato, Republic, Book I, Cadmus’ speech:
How well I remember the aged poet Sophocles, when in answer to the question, How does love suit with age, Sophocles—are you still the man you were? Peace, he replied; most gladly have I escaped the thing of which you speak; I feel as if I had escaped from a mad and furious master. His words have often occurred to my mind since, and they seem as good to me now as at the time when he uttered them. For certainly old age has a great sense of calm and freedom; when the passions relax their hold, then, as Sophocles says, we are freed from the grasp not of one mad master only, but of many.
I hope they change Say’s Phoebe just because it’s annoying to say, no one understands when you say its name, its name easily leads to confusion.
He endorsed Bernie Sanders in 2020 and I don’t think he’s changed his politics since then.

Yeah, this sort of thing has been going on in Quebec for years with the same intent: Act respecting the laicity of the State
Do you know what would be even more freaky? If you saw her again.
I used to know a guy who would regularly say “si” instead of “yes” in English conversations. He also wasn’t Spanish/Hispanic. It was super confusing because I thought he was interjecting to see “See…” instead of just responding affirmatively.
That’s not so hard to remember! In France, turkey is called “dinde,” derived from “d’Inde” (“of India”), which is much farther east than Türkiye. So just remember that in France, Türkiye = India.
