5·13 hours agoThat’s a weird way of saying that they had a net loss of $8 billion. Are you trying to imply that this is somehow extraordinary for a growth company? How do you figure that?

It’s a tough market if you plan to make money only from the device and not from datamining like Google definitely does and Apple probably too.

1·23 hours agoNo, SpaceX’s valuation hasn’t really decreased significantly. Musk is still comfortably a trillionaire.

Pretty regular stuff for a new IPO meme stock. Don’t go on the ride if you don’t like the speed.

13·23 hours agoOne of the first targets the USA bombed was an elementary school in Iran.
Do you really think they did that knowingly? It was the greatest single PR loss of the whole war for them. Who knows, could be that that one horrible mistake made them lose the whole thing.
Iranian backed terrorists do the shit they do knowingly for 100% sure.
Even if consequences may be as shitty, intent matters.

213·23 hours agoIt’s interesting that they made demands from a party that was not in the negotiations or who did not sign the agreement. And everyone thinks this is somehow valid.
You moved the goalposts there a bit.
But yeah, I’m not trying to argue you down or anything. Obviously your experience can be different from mine. I was just asking something I could peruse that would have a bit more broad, less safety-oriented selection of comics. You wouldn’t have to read it.

Technology@lemmy.world•How the Peter Thiel-Linked Dialog Club Secretly Ranks Its MembersEnglish
11·1 day agoYeah, I’m not anywhere close to getting in.
Do educate me, I have no idea what you’re alluding to.
But I was specifically asking for a community that allows more, for myself to peruse. I don’t think you would be forced to read it.
Well, not really before reading this thread. I think safety means mostly physical safety, and that cannot usually be threatened over the internets. Except with shit like swatting.
Damn, “enjoyable”? That’s a kind of a low bar. Or a high bar? The kind of bar that encourages mediocrity. Mid bar?
Is there another comics community that would allow a bit more artistic expression?

This is the sort of comment where I wish Lemmy had the option to block everyone who upvoted it.
edit and I wish the ones who downvote this also blocked me
They have their own model called Composer that’s specialized for coding.
Personally, I think generic Opus 4.8 beats it, but it is quite cheap and fast. I used Composer via Cursor for a few months in late 2025. I hear they have improved the model somewhat since.
