1 year agoI def suffer from the “took 100 times more effort” camp. Yes I could have manually done this, but instead I wrote a script, crazy formulas in Excel, etc etc. It’s really just one part of my brain going “there has to be a better way than manually”, and my hyperfocus saying “hold my beer, it will take twice as long and no one will care about your methodology”.
I’m one of those people that related to ADHD memes, got diagnosed, and am on meds. Things are definitely in a better place for me now then before I stumbled upon the old adhd memes subreddit. I know why I am the way that I am, at least better than before.
