There is not. Obviously I can’t speak for every city in the world but any I’m familiar with either flow back to natural water sources, or to storm ponds to slowly evaporate/become ground water

First elections in a lot longer than that…

Thankfully Hollywood has shown us that this will be less successful

Stay classy America
I assume you’re trolling but A) you either know nothing about Rommel, or don’t know what ardent means, and B) you figure a country losing a war means every general they had was a bad general?

Dictatorship is a much more recent memory in Brazil

You’ve really lost me on the connection between the US dragging their feet joining (either) WW and 9/11

You seem to think I think they were in the wrong for doing so. I don’t, but that doesn’t change the fact that they did indeed drag their feet

If a person is living at home and convinces their parents to get a second job to help support them, but doesn’t get a second job themselves until 3 years later because their parents finally gave them an ultimatum and their old job ended, , and then waits until the last day of that ultimatum to finally get the new job, they’re dragging their feet.

Right so, they dragged their feet on it.

So not doing something until being forced into a commitment and then waiting until the last possible moment to Honor that commitment is somehow not feet dragging to you?
