Nope. I don’t talk about myself like that.

Well… No offense… but duh? It’s not like OP can migrate his spouses “Spouse@gmail.com” address to his mail server.

I was under the assumption (and I could be wrong) that OP owns the domain… And wants to run their mailboxes. If she wants to keep her own mailbox and use it, just forward it to her gmail if that’s what she wants. I’m also not insinuating forcing someone into something.

I own my domain(you guessed correctly) and host my own emails. My spouse does use an inbox on my server(actually a few)… If she didn’t want to anymore she can open a mailbox where-ever she wants… and I’ll even forward whatever I get to her. That’s it. Wouldn’t stop me from running my own inbox on my own server. And I’m not forcing her to do anything at all. She can use it or not.

This is the mentality I have when I made the previous comments. Just forward her stuff off, she can go wherever she wants.

  • He is suing both Disney and the pub. The pub obviously because they were negligent and Disney because it is in Disney World. It is up to the court to decide how much liability Disney should have vs. the pub, if any.

It could very well be in the contract with the pub that Disney requires allergenic options to be available and the space doesn’t have sufficient space to keep those ingredients separate. In such an instance Disney absolutely bare a significant amount of responsibility.

Jeez, you’re really out here word policing when it’s clear we’re simply talking about the word… You know… not actually attributing it.

You act like just saying “Negro” with no context is any better.

Just like your namesake, you’ve added nothing to the discussion except a bit of toxicity.

Not according to the etymology. https://www.etymonline.com/word/nigger

1786, earlier neger (1568, Scottish and northern England dialect), negar, negur, from French nègre, from Spanish negro (see Negro).

All of these languages are latin-based languages… So there must be a latin root. If you dig further you find

from Latin nigrum (nominative niger) “black, dark, sable, dusky” (applied to the night sky, a storm, the complexion), figuratively “gloomy, unlucky, bad, wicked,”

So yes negro exists in the middle but not as the source necessarily… It would have evolved (if I read the etymology correctly) as Nigrum -> Niger -> Negro/neger/negar/negur -> Nigger.

But neither is your skin colour expressed in Latin.

Niger is Latin… Nigger is not.

While I’m generally not sensitive to these things, claiming something that’s factually not true as a defense of the word is just not okay. Use the word if you really want to use it. If you use it in any other way other than academically (such as discussing the word in of itself)… don’t surprise pikachu when people shun you for it.

Just because they’re both agencies that enforce laws, doesn’t make them both police. You don’t call the Secret Service when your neighbors dog shits on your lawn. Or when someone breaks into your car… Unless you’re literally the president/ex-president.

Being obtuse on this statement is kind of silly.
