The only thing I miss is the really neiche communities. There’s some but they struggle to take off due to the smaller user base.

You do have to look though a few different servers till you find one that fits what you want. Mods are still clowns depending on the server. Avoid the top few instances to avoid power trippers. Some things never change.

I basically found a cozy server and settled in after nukeing my reddit account. I don’t miss reddit.

I can’t wait for my GPU to not be at 70c running Firefox.

I’m ok with dropping a few bucks if I like them, but monthly is just more bills to worry about. Dropping $20 once is a lot easier than drip feeding it over a year and hoping I remember to manage it. It also comes with the expectations of delivery/trade vs buying the dude lunch.

Same, I have a few locks I don’t have the keys for and even broke into my friends car for them once.

I swear as soon as I put money into a hobby, I lose interest. I got a guitar I can’t play, a hackRF I can’t be bothered to relearn, a box of half built eletronics, an unknown amount of Raspberry Pis and Arduinos with no purpose…

Both OS are on different drives so the boot loaders don’t see eachother. I don’t trust Window not to fuck up my entire drive. I got to select the drive from my BIOS every time. I may just pull the SATA cable unless my ass hat friends want to play league.
