But DLSS does still get updated models with driver updates:

It’s a new game. This shouldn’t be surprising. Most likely they just need to retrain/finetune the ML models being used for upscaling, frame generation, etc.

You’re misunderstanding what I am saying.
I wasn’t saying that OP was wrong about delays. I was pointing out that if you’re trying to compare space games, you need to compare the proper game type.
Comparing Everspace to Squadron 42 makes sense because they’re both single player games.
On the other hand, trying to tell people to play Everspace instead of Star Citizen would be like trying to tell people that they should play Skyrim instead of World of Warcraft. One is a single player game while the other game is an MMO.

Star Citizen is an MMO while Everspace and Squadron 42 are single player games.
Video game preservation absolutely matters and there’s been an alarming trend in the industry to release a game only to shut it down a short time later with no ability for the players to be able to play it further.

I’ve used it for translating reviews where the website’s (or google’s) translator does a terrible job. It seems to do a much better job (at least the reviews made a lot more sense and I got a lot more out of it).
But I absolutely agree, don’t ever trust it to be completely accurate, especially with something important like contracts.

Though Nintendo’s not going after Pocketpair because lamballs look uncomfortably similar to wooloos, we do know the company is famously litigious in protecting its brand.
So no one really knows what exactly Nintendo is accusing them of yet.

A patent lawyer Was able to narrow down which patent that they could allege was infringed by looking at the combined patents between Nintendo and The Pokémon Company (since they filed a joint lawsuit). Flappy Bird wasn’t the first to even implement a game like this.
I remember playing a very similar game with a helicopter and another one with a worm long before that app released for phones.
Flappy Bird is just the game of this type that ended up going viral in its time.

It’s not the best example for the Stop Killing Games movement, but it at least highlights the trend of studios that are releasing games and then dropping all support soon after.
It would be great if studios started planning for an end of life transition where players could spin up their own servers, or at least allow some sort of offline mode so that the game doesn’t just become completely unplayable.
