The world will be split between countries that trade freely with China and countries that don’t.
This will be the test and control for whether trading with China is good or bad.
If international law doesn’t apply in Palestine, it doesn’t apply anywhere else either

The livestreamed genocide that Biden enabled and Harris defended is Kremlin disinformation?
You don’t the Democrats bankrolling a genocide for a year and campaigning with the Cheneys had anything to do with it?
Once again “the earth” is supposedly synonymous with “that one country in North America”…
they gave North American examples but the statement is universally true
I don’t understand why Elon chose to go mask off. He could have continued pretending to be a sane if eccentric person. I am glad he did but I don’t understand the motives.
Remember when the Simpson had Lisa sing his praises?
Metric is just easier and the founders of the US actually considered it but wars -obviously- distracted them from switching to it.
This is promising. I hope this continues and spreads
Being ruled by Turks for 400 years kinda makes sense now
My wife visited Saudi Arabia a few months ago and one thing she told that she liked was that Pizza Hut still tastes good there.
Yet another DE?
To most Liberals Palestinians are just not humans and therefore there is no problem of human rights violation.
Ignoring the genocide in Gaza are we? Do liberals realize how insulting this is?
Israel using Meta’s WhatsApp to kill Palestinians in Gaza through AI system.
In a sense, Skynet is already here.
Do they use the BSD userland instead? Interesting…
Perhaps the definition isn’t good enough or accurate. What would you call a system that perhaps uses Darwin kernel or Hurd plus GNU user land, or any combo of.
I am still hoping it will hit 10% market share within my life time. I remember when it was predicted to hit that in 2010, obviously it didn’t happen*. Of course for me personally, the year of the Linux Desktop was 2007 when I was finally able to use it as my main OS at home, I tried it before many times since 2003.
* not counting systems that use the Linux kernel but aren’t considered a traditional GNU+Linux desktop.
Wow, some industry lobbyists got government funding, amazing.
Not just in the US, China too is building nuclear reactors faster than any other country
Global fossil fuel subsidies are at $7 trillion, so I guess those are really relevant to our future as well!
No of course not. The subsidies at this point at a crime against humanity.
I don’t want developing countries to waste their money on nuclear power when they can get much more cost effective renewables.
If the renewables are cost effective and provide stable power then I too want them to be priority -near zero risks-, but more importantly industry and business will seek them on their own. I just hold that nuclear power should be part of the mix. Take the UAE for example it is investing in both nuclear and solar.
nuclear power isn’t relevant anymore.
that’s not true. you just don’t want developing countries to have nuclear power.
“Nuclear for me but not for thee”.
The optimal temperature for solar panels to operate efficiently is typically around 25°C (77°F).
It is 34°C (93°F) at night.
Other countries are reporting different and positive results. I think this is the kind of thing that we will see the outcome of decades later. It will be interesting to see how much of the perceived negative impact is due to ingrained racism and xenophobia especially in the West.
