Not to be conspiritorial, but everything seems to be working out in their favour from Brexit to Trump II.
2·3 months agoApple can make Chrome book equivalents, they want you to rent compute power not computers.
Natively you’d be able to run VLC on a good day if you’re lucky, but everything else will be online with a subscription attached.

China haven’t had a war since the 70s, so until they decide to go for Taiwan I’m cool with them at this point.
