The obscure videogame subreddits are what I miss the most. Made one here on lemmy for a game I love and only one other person has commented since July.

Gave the game another try after the update and I'm actually enjoying it now. Gotten to the 2nd map and there are a ton of enemies fighting everywhere now. They really did increase the amount of NPCs you see around the map.

Wanted something moody/dark to play during October and this has scratched that itch.

Only played solo but I'd rate it as a 6.5/10 now. The original version would be like a 5/10 to me.

That was a great film trilogy. Definitely on my list for stuff to watch again this month

I caught it after one person infected over a dozen people at a birthday party last week.

I spent over two days locked to a couch unable to handle any food with a 104 fever and now I'm mostly just dealing with the leftover sinus & upper respiratory infection it caused.

And this is honestly one of the first covid posts I've seen here in a bit. No idea what you are talking about.

Thanks! I'm doing better since Saturday for sure. Only really have a sinus infection still but two more days of antibiotics will clear everything up for sure.

Definitely would take another sore arm over a week of this.

Definitely need to get my flu shot too so thanks for that reminder. When I test negative again I will try and get both.

Also just learned if I try blowing through my right nostril hard enough, I can blow air out of my left eye sinus passage. Covid has been a gift that keeps on giving.

Be sure to get the new booster. I delayed getting it by a week and tested positive Saturday morning. Sinus + Upper Respiratory infection has been a fun thing to experience lmao.

Worst part so far was last night when I couldn't tell I was eating expired kimchi until I took a closer look. Lack of smell or taste can be tricky lol.

My local vape shop has started asking for tips when you pay now. I'm definitely not tipping for a D8 cart that's already 20% more expensive than buying it online from the makers.

Nah this is all we got. It was so infuriating trying to talk about this at launch.

I got constantly talked down to with stuff like “uhh yeah there is a map lol. You can see the whole universe. What more do you need?” or they would say how that shitty topographic map is all you’d need.

It was also funny seeing people say to stop complaining because it’s like morrowind now. They completely missed that morrowind had a fucking local map for the towns too.

Funny story about that.

When I was a kid, 15+ years ago, my parents told me about somebody that did that here in Texas with their son.

The father took his underage son to a restaurant and was able to get him a beer. During the meal, the father went to the bathroom and the son took a drink of his beer. A cop was sitting nearby and arrested the kid for underage drinking because the father wasn’t in the presence of the son so it was no longer “supervised”.

Lol some subreddits had changed their automod to warn you for changing your comments to “fuck Spez”

I got one that sorta said “oh you are editing all your old comments before leaving reddit? Let me ban you to help you not come back”

Then they banned me not even 10 minutes before I deleted my account. It was such a pathetic sounding message lmfao.
