They’ll probably kill off his character in the first scene then leave us with the cheaper actors for the rest smh

Very well said, did you ever read the sort-of-prequel portrait of the artist as a young man?
The thing i always think about is that qoute from Virginia Wolfe where she likens the writing to a schoolboy doing stunts for the sake of getting attention. I remember thinking that was exactly how it felt while I was reading Ulysses, it felt like a highschool creative writer mashing things together without considering whether it was actually good or not.
However im not going to sit here and pretend im an objective critic. The book is obviously famous and important for a reason. I’m interested to know how it saved your life, if you feel like sharing
You know how when you’re studying literature you’re generally supposed to assume that everything is intenional and there’s nothing just thrown in for no reason … Well when you read Joyce, it’s really really hard not to feel like he’s just doing things for the sake of being pretentious and obtuse.
Boy that would seriously mess with the narrative of this comment section if that were the case
Agreed. I’d say Skyrim’s only real innovation where RPGs are concerned was its accessibility. Thats why it’s become such a staple of online culture, because anyone could pick it up and play it, so pretty much everyone did.
Not related but i disabled Google’s access to my microphone and then somehow my phone lost the ability to send photos. I cant confirm the two things were related but it really feels deliberate.
Ya can i getuuuuuuuuuuuuh nother live action anime remake please
Is it just me or has the term “ordered by” become a lot more common recently? Like, im aware that studios have always demanded media be made out of IPs regardless of whether there are any stories worth telling. But when did they start using language that makes it read like im in a McDonald’s drive through?
It seems like a lot of developers confuse making a “difficult game” with making a “difficult control scheme”
This is kind of the hot take going around right now but honestly duo has a lot of advantages. Huge selection of languages, gameified lessons, and the app is really streamlined and responsive.
Im not sure if its better or worse for learning than other apps, but i suspect “learning” a language has a lot more to do with personal drive and dedication than whatever app you chose to learn with
Its the same problem that i have with quests in souls games. If every possible choice always ends in tragedy then theres no point, no emotional impact. It just gets predictable.
The article reads like its trying to hide behind this idea that cyberpunk 2077 is akin to noir films. Yet the story they told is barely noir, and not all noirs end poorly. In my opinion, the game would have benefited a lot if they had opened themselves up to a variety of themes, instead of reiterating the same “accept death” message over and over.
