What happened is solidarity was made illegal and propaganda was spread so thoroughly that unions can’t act like they did in the glory days anymore without being crushed by the corporations. I urge everyone reading this to join their union no matter how seemingly ineffective because people give the union power and without people unions are going to be stuck in this flimsy complacent state
