So what you’re saying is taking a walk is beneficial for stabilising the heart rate?
I mean, the rich drug dealers you know are rich from dealing, aren’t the ones to have that lifestyle long term.
The sensible and rich drug dealers are the ones you wouldn’t know about. Quite a few of them are landlords here in the UK (I can’t provide numbers, just a what I know thing so I won’t be offended if no one believes it - these are just my ramblings, officer).
Basically just sensible ways to turn black market income into seemingly legitimate income, through either self-employed businesses or other means.
They’ll have seemingly regular jobs, and will do their best to appear legitimate to not raise any red flags. You’d be very surprised at who the most successful drug dealers are, however chances are you’ll never know as well.
They can be at first too, all you need are some bandanas and a fake parrot (some people may tell you this is not necessary, those are just typical Internet lies).
You mean that’s what the hole in the wall was for?
Oh dear…
The REAL question is how much beans can I feed to a cat, and why does my house smell really bad?
I’m actually rather thankful for this entire drama, or rather my cats are.
I was ‘this’ close to forgetting some ham for their once in a while treat. Thanks, /c/vegan!
Useful tip: with security torx screws, with the little nub in the centre, if you get a small flathead screwdriver to jam in there and wiggle a bit, that centre bit will snap off without much difficulty.
You should be able to use a regular Torx screwdriver bit after that.
There’s Lemmy chat now? How does that work?? Is it like IRC?
Hey man no spoilers, I just started Ghost of Tsushima the other day…
If you’re on desktop: BetterDiscord. Supports plugins, and themes (I use an AMOLED theme), which make life so much nicer.
There’s advantages to paying for video games, even single player such as cloud saves as one example. For multiplayer games you get online play with dedicated servers, rather than finding a workaround like LAN tunneling with pirated games.
You literally get nothing special from paying for porn.
This is why I wear thongs. I pull them up to my nipples to assert dominance.
Most people are just apprehensive in treating it for what it is: drug addiction.
Or the forced sterilisations of indigenous women… many of these things happening in recent years…
Here in the UK it took over 3 years, after the initial release of the iPhone, for it to even support MMS messaging. Most people around me had Blackberries until Apple actually gave reason for them to consider switching, which took years. It was largely considered to be like the iPods before it: focused on the fashion/‘cool’ aspect of it.
I would not say they brought technology forward, and I’d go as far as to say the strive to bring forward functionalities of the iPhones improved after Jobs (I understand this is a hot take and may result in downvotes, just my opinion based on local experience).
Thank you for the clarification on this, I’ll keep it in mind and noted.
It’s nothing surprising to me. This is what I assume Reddit was like before heavy moderation of subs many years ago, and what gets on the front page.
/r/trees used to be one of the most popular subreddits and used to frequently show up on /r/all (the ‘frontpage’ back then), followed by GoneWild communities iirc (at least that’s how it felt like, I mean Spez was a moderator for Jailbait after all) I think Lemmy just doesn’t hide it and so it’s easier for people to click on and such.
His photos were altered to not show the facial scarring he had, from contracting Smallpox as a child, as an effort at the time to make him look better in print.
