Since long legs would be impossible
Luckily those long slim arms are completely unaffected by that same gravity.
Gentle nerd freak of the pacific northwest. All nation states are vermin.
Since long legs would be impossible
Luckily those long slim arms are completely unaffected by that same gravity.
The soup is a metaphor for bringing back a poet from the dead. Pretty obvious, right?
For some reason Dionysus is being coy about what he wants - I’d guess either for some cultural reasons, or just as a premise to set up some jokes about being hungry and horny.
This is from Aristophanes’ Frogs, written and performed as the plague ravaged citizens of Athens hunkered behind their walls with Spartans terrorizing the Attic countryside.
So to help, Dionysus goes to hell to bring back a good poet to cheer people up. Because imagine trying to get through 2020 without TV.
There’s a great line describing Aeschylus’ sentences as great galumphing things with adjectives hanging off them like monstrous shaggy eyebrows.
Trump didn’t want to win in 2016. His whole candidacy was basically a shit post gone awry, and that was so expensive that it may still cost us democracy in the US.
Reminds me of a line from The Maxx: “The Crapon-in-a-hat and Jean Paul Satre team up to fight nausea? Sounds like a losing battle to me.”
Eliminating the Senate might seem like a good way to reduce the outsized influence that voters in smaller states wield, but the Senate helps keep those states in the union.
Also, the death penalty should be eliminated, not expanded.
We obviously need to address the fact that our government doesn’t represent the country, but drastically increasing the ability of larger states to ride roughshod over the interests of smaller states is not a recipe for stability.
The fact that you posted that incredibly disingenuous jpost piece from foxman yesterday makes me very skeptical of your ability to identify what is and is not antisemitism.
You’re a troll though. It’s easy to tell because every single post in your comment history is trolling.
I’m gonna block you now but best of luck with your future trolling.
No, that’s too shitpost.
A couple of the articles about this mentioned that UFL’s viewing figures were believed to be harmed by this deal as well.
So not only did fewer people want to join the army after seeing UFL and the rock promote it, but fewer people wanted to watch UFL after seeing it was associated with the army. Talk about a toxic brand.
If you’d zoomed out a little more you could’ve included Ibiza to the north, where the Mayans started out before expanding north towards disneyland, or the Azores to the west, the base used by the Polynesians to obtain sweet potatoes from the Ghanaians.
Oh, that’s it? Thank you! I never would’ve gotten this. I think it was the whole of sponge bob used as a metaphor for a single body part that was throwing me off.
I still do not get it.
Are his eyes and nose supposed to look like testicles and a penis? They’re upside down if so.
Is it his eyes and the line extending from his head? There’s the square of his head in the way so it just doesn’t look like a penis to me.
I gather it’s somehow penis related, yeah?
How does that relate to the image though?
Not engaging and instead just letting readers see your other response would’ve been the classier move.
This is called parsing - your brain processing the speech sounds into meaning. That feeling of suddenly realizing what was said is your brain needing a little extra time to parse.
This can happen for lots of reasons. One time my sister in law was so grumpy that my brain struggled to parse what she was saying because the tone and words were so mismatched.
In NNY it’s called momcorp.
You know I almost didn’t post, thinking about that exact point?
But at least two of them are holding weight on them - rightmost of the front pack and leftmost of the mid pack. Also I’m guessing that they’d still need more robust arms than that just for lifting and carrying in high G, right?
