They are the cause of every pointless war in that region that we get involved in.
That’s like going out to the local pub and having that one buddy who constantly antagonizes the neighboring booth and then when the shit hits the fan, expects you to protect him, while he runs and hides under one of the tables. And he still expects you to pay the bar tab.

I don’t know if Lemmy has the equivalent of r/blunderyears but I’m calling it right now… the next 10 to 15 years are going to be peak embarrassing photo time as zoomers start turning 35 or so and they post their photos when they were late teens or early 20s.

I got banned once for saying that a drug cartel head honcho deserved the death penalty (or something like that, I don’t recall the details). This was after a story where a bunch of people in Mexico or some South American country were found murdered in some gruesome ways and the head honcho was caught but then escaped. You can’t escape if you’re dead.
So someone on Reddit was offended because I said that a drug cartel kingpin who had dozens (or maybe hundreds) of murders under his belt should be removed from the gene pool. And then to make things worse, some moron Reddit agreed eith them.
Fuck Reddit.
