In the US, it’s extremely rare to have a light switch outside if yhe room with the light. Usually there’s a lights witch and a couple sockets in the bathroom by the mirror.

The doctor I see for adhd set themselves up as a PCP for insurance purposes, so each visit is just a copay. You can find co-pays from free to $20 on the ACA Marketplace (Obamacare). Just find an insurance salesperson to help you, they are paid by the insurance companies so you don’t pay for their help!
Testing cost me a little more and it wasn’t as laborious as this makes it sound. One test was video-recorded while you clicked the mouse whenever something happened on the screen and the other was some questions about your history.
They call it the Flow state, there are books and I’m sure seminars about getting into the flow state to help you focus and get more done.
It’s worth finding a doctor that treats adult ADHD and see the effect that meds have on you.
I somehow had untreated ADHD, but still managed to get good grades. It was amazing when I started taking meds for ADHD. There have been advances in some of the meds that help lessen the side effects. Also as an adult, you may be able to better perceive the difference between unmedicated and medicated states.
The biggest hassle is finding someone that treats adult ADHD and is on your insurance. Tons of people around me treat child ADHD, but there’s only a handful of people around that treat adult ADHD.
It is really cool. Shadow of Mordor needed to tame it down just a little, however. By the end of the game, that rival orc was immune to every weapon in my arsenal. It would only take damage from NPCs or environmental damage triggered by NPCs lol
The system itself is really cool, though! If you play either Shadow of Mordor or Shadow of War, just be aware that the story is complete fan fiction and some of it flies in the face of LOTR lore. Just don’t take any if the story seriously and enjoy the game play for what it is.
It’s where all the Maga people went after Twitter started banning them for pushing (I think it was russian) propoganda.
Yes, Star Tours has changed. A friend rode it back to back like 6 times and only repeated a couple scenes. The ride has multiple scenes to choose from the prequels, OT, and sequels and it’s all randomized.
Unfortunately, Honey I shrunk the kids is no more and I heard that they are getting rid of A Bugs Life (although that might just be a retheme)retirement.
The Star Tours ride moves around while you’re in it and the Avatar ride moves and puffs smells while you fly on the back of the flying dragon animals, but I think that’s the closest experience to 4D now.
23 states with wage at $3/hour or under, 26 states under $4/hour, 29 states under $5/hour, and 38 states with untipped wage less than federal minimum wage ($7.25).
It seems that more than half of the states make up to ~$1.50 more than federal minimum of $2.13 and the vast majority still make less than federal minimum wage. I’m glad that there are 10 states in which servers can make double digit wages before tips, but there are by no means the majority.
The point remains that the majority of servers survive on tips because they are paid so little.
That’s not really relevant. My reply was in response to statement that food shouldn’t be more expensive to the consumer with tipping removed. Obviously the revenue for the servers to be paid has to come from somewhere, so it’s either coming from the price of food or tips. If we get rid of tipping, the restaurant will have to raise prices to cover that cost.
Huge chains could more easily pay a better wage than family-owned restaurants.
Currently servers are currently paid minimum $2.13/hour. If they don’t make enough after tips to equal minimum wage over a pay period ($7.25/hour), then the restaurant is required to pay them up to that minimum wage.
Labor costs for servers, bartenders, and others caught in this legal loophole would have to increase by 7-fold to get up to $15/hour. Many restaurants and bars wouldn’t be able to afford that large of an increase without raising prices, given that many have a profit margin between 3-6% per several sources.
There have been some restaurants that have raised wages closer to $15/hour with varying success, but that hasn’t caught on widely yet.
It links to a file with that name. There have been times where I download a pdf and click the name only for my phone to open a different pdf than the one I was supposed to be downloading. Turns out they both had the same name.
Profit, profit, profit, can’t make as much if we spend it to make the game look great!
I’m not seeing what you’re seeing. The new one is on the right, just to be clear.
They were at it at least a year before the 2016 election cycle. I believe it was the CIA that said Russia was the one that created the Jade Helm scare in 2015 through social media influence.
Jade Helm was the name of a training operation of the US military in central TX near Temple. The Russians created a bunch of posts claiming that Obama was taking over local Walmarts and emptying them of all merchandise to use as prisoners for his political opponents. They even drew diagrams of the insides of the stores with the holding cells and everything. So great was the Russian influence that Abbott (who is still Governor of TX) ordered the TX National Guard to watch the training exercise and make sure that the US military wasn’t storming homes and taking prisoners.
