They weren’t even using a recent Photoshop version so were actually using less ‘AI’ than any pro retoucher would.

I do retouching work. Recently lost a client to an ‘AI’ retouching firm. When the client came back to me to fix loads of stuff and I looked at the output, it became apparent that the work had actually just been outsourced to India and there was no magic AI solution.

Gen AI is an amazing tool but not a one click solution like so many are claiming.

Quest 3 can launch straight into passthrough mode, most games can be played standing or sitting in place (I play in a regular sized living room without moving anything around). It’s actually quicker and easier for me to play in VR than boot up my gaming rig.

Absolutely, while being able to silently capture a 30FPS burst is kinda magic, it just feels wrong. I still shoot with mechanical shutter (at least second curtain), basically for the feels (and the extra bit depth).

There’s a reason mirrorless is here to stay, the autofocus is basically cheat mode compared to a DSLR. I do miss some aspects of the optical viewfinder though.
