It’s something you have to worry about in basically all apartments (in the US–despite thin walls and no insulation, I never had loud and inconsiderate neighbors when I lived in Japan). You might get lucky and get a place with good soundproofing, but the odds are slim.

These were both extremely popular at the same time at a point when I was frequently going to the gym. If I spent 90 minutes at the gym, I would hear both of these songs three times. I absolutely cannot stand them. I disliked the second one from the beginning and didn’t care for the first, and then I heard each of them dozens and dozens of times over just a couple of months.

Ohhhhh. I wish that were explained more. My only problem with the term “cis” is that it seemed to come from nowhere, a made-up term out of a random syllable that was suddenly being applied to people.
People who are offended by being called “cis” are often the same people who have spent their lives labelling everyone else because of a misguided sense of superiority.
