I have a quadro k2000m in my laptop. Cannot use modern drivers, and old drivers slowly have their support dropped by everything else. If the chip works then the drivers should as well.

AMD does not have this problem. AMD has open source drivers. If NVIDIA made their drivers open source then it would not be a problem.

NVIDIA drivers are notoriously bad. They break and WILL depreciate your card eventually, forcing you to switch to the slow open source drivers.

I have had two cards lose support. It’s absurd.

But for 370 it’s kinda a steal honestly.

IMO this has been very publicized in certain circles, and will have the effect of martyrdom. More people are going to be interested in doing this.

Honestly, if anyone has become a master in C, they can become a rust master in short order. It’s different, but not THAT different. The roots are the same.

I don’t believe this for a second. You can literally just look at it and intuitively understand. Not to mention part of the standard elementary school curriculum is how to read a clock.

Does anyone else think this picture looks fake for some reason? Look at his face, how it doesn’t quite fit with the rest of his body, and how it appears to be a different resolution than the rest of the picture.

This used to be true, and there was enormous investment in nuclear power.

But the truth is that renewables have come a LONG way these past few decades. In many places, renewables is the cheapest energy to invest in, cheaper than even Fossil fuels in many cases. And much much cheaper than nuclear.

Why build a nuclear plant when you can build diversified renewable energy sources for the same price or less?

As a very small added bonus, renewables can’t be turned into bombs. Yet.

My understanding of how this works is that that left one is real accounts making real comments, at least in the majority.

Then when the link gets reposted, either by a bot or naturally, potentially depending on the title, the bots scrape the old comments and post them.

It’s content farming. And Reddit is probably okay with this.

It actually took me a long time to realize I like vinegar. I’ve always liked sour food and pickles especially, but I never made the connection until a few years ago.

The reason the m4 is a smaller cartridge is that its predecessor had serious over penetration issues. Ideally the bullet will stop inside of the victim.

The XM7 will have seriously worse performance due to over penetration and other ballistics, not to mention heavy and limited ammo. Maybe it will fare better against armor, which would be good in a hypothetical matchup with a comparable enemy, but that is unlikely to occur any time soon.

CMUS! I’m surprised more people aren’t using this. It’s very cool, ultra lightweight, and easy to use. Maybe I just like stuff that runs in the console.
