Hard pass on both, online-only games that MIGHT succeed for a bit and cost a lot, or fail and make suckers of people who paid anything.

I think Kenshi and Heroes of Hammerlock 1-2 might scratch that itch as well. Never played them tho, but all my actual recommendations are listed in this thread already ;)

Sink it.

Still waiting for their frame pacing fix. Something seems broken atm

I blame Nioh 3 for this ;)
An amazing game wrapped in unacceptable frame pacing, dips and lag. Took me over 3 days to go from total disaster to acceptable performance, using 4 different third party software and lots of trial and error with infame settings. I would have loved to know what rip people played on when claiming it as “smooth” XD

Honnestly seeing random compilations and the last few days, this didn’t really look like a guy free to leave or pocketing the profits. Hard to tell, hard to watch too, so time will tell for this “pauvre diable”.

Thank christ, I was shocked when I saw them walk only days after the guy died. They clearly are reaponsible for the horrible state this guy was in, which lead to his death. They prevented him from sleeping for over a week, no wonder his system broke down.
To me, murder charges should still be on the table.

Good. I bought it for the now neglected/retired singleplayer Terrorist Hunt mode - the strengh of the original series - so I can’t give a shit when their precious online-only cashcow gets fucked like this.

Short sentence if you ask me.

First article title using slam correctly. I love it.

We can do better! 0% worldwide is the target, isn’t it?

Why is anyone playing this shit anyways?

Fake frames, as opposed to the real life pictures other frames are…
You remind me of people who kept posting that the human eye can’t see frames past 30. Where are they now lol Oh that’s right; they’re right here!
Mark my words: you will use frame generation someday and you will not come back. Maybe from a future nvidia feature (eg DLSS), maybe from a monitor, in VR (been a thing for a while but it’s not good yet). You will like it.

You’re right, 20fps and low polycount is just fine. You still on a 360p CRT too?
It"s an $8 purchase that can quadruple your framerate, and at the very least, hides dips from any games. Sure, little use in turn-based games and point and clicks… but for everythong else, smoothness looks and feels better.

Oh, another reason: if it’s ever time to upgrade your GPU, try this $8 app and you might be able to push it another 3-5 years.
Still on a 3060 here and nowhere close to upgrading (cap the game at 41fps, get 164fps out)

Yep, I use it to in order to help games that are too cpu-intensive for their own good ;)

Amen, 60fps stutters. 75 or higher is fine, but to me anything around 60 looks bad, especially when the game is demanding because its low graphics still look photorealistic.
Online only games are a waste of time and money. I’m waiting for the day people stop buying them and studios stop making them…
