James Talarico, the Democratic candidate for Senate in Texas, accused his rival Ken Paxton of “ignoring” survivors of Jeffrey Epstein’s sexual abuse, as Democrats seek to increase pressure on Republicans ahead of November’s midterm elections.
Speaking in Dallas, where Republicans are holding a midterm convention this week, Talarico appeared alongside one of Epstein’s victims at an exhibit that featured about 3.5m pages of Department of Justice’s files related to Epstein.

He is getting desperate. If he loses Congress he’s fucked as they start looking into all his shit and that means everything from the tariffs, Epstein Files, his family’s dealings, war in Iran and so on. Even if the Democrats don’t get enough power to get majorities they can still get enough power to shine a light on all his dirty diapers. And honestly I think there is so much they did we have no idea off.

Trump committed political suicide by attacking Iran and starting an un winnable war. Now he can’t get out of it without a ground invasion. That means the US needs a draft to obtain enough troops to deploy upon Iranian soil.
He needs a majority in the House and Senate to pull that off and even if he steals the election, he’s likely to face even more pressure if he attempts it. And this guy faces an attempt on his life every few months. He’d be turning the whole country against him overnight.
I think the war in Iran is the least of the mistakes he’s made. The economy is in worse shape directly due to his decisions. In US politics, that’s everything.
Sure? I know the trade war has done quite a bit of damage, but the Iran war is an economic domino that’s barely just begun knocking things over.
I think that is only additive to what he’s already done to the economy with tariffs. I have talked with republicans who have implied the were willing to give Trump the benefit of the doubt on Iran acquiring nuclear weapons.

I have to disagree. Yes, the economy is bad and his decisions on tariffs and political decisions have been disastrous. But his decision to attack Iran (without a declaration of war, to be clear) has resulted in countless innocent lives lost including the students at an indiscriminately bombed Iranian girls middle school. All those pointless deaths put the Iran decision far ahead of everything else he’s done in office in the ranking of pure evil.
But nobody is even talking about any of that. They’re talking about the oil and the Strait of Hormuz and how it is affecting the economy.
I don’t disagree with you about what the actual bigger issue is. But in terms of issues in an election, that doesn’t even enter the picture. Keep in mind, this is the same country that reeelected Bush after his war in Iraq was proved to be a complete and total failure.

Nah. A ground invasion would be a nightmare. He only did the Iran thing because Israel forced him to in the first place. Operation Epstein’s fury is a forever war as Israel wants to keep it going for domestic political reasons, and ideological nazi ones.
