Who would have thought that a corrupt company who has massive ties to the most corrupt politician in history and is ran by the richest person in history would be the downfall of a massive bubble full of fraudulent claims and hopium investments and trumped up books?

Beef prices may be high but those rich folks are looking awfully delicious.

It’s like there was one Steve Jobs and when he died none of them could come up with an actual product or idea.

Jobs was the precursor to Musk. Marketers who act like they’re the designers but other people do the work. Jobs did at least have some design ethos though.

Jobs did at least have some design ethos though.

I mean, his design was basically unmedicated OCD…

Dude insisted on everything being neat and tidy, even sealed internals no one would ever see.

Is it better than a PC slapped together by a teenager in their mom’s basement for 2/3s price?

          Absolutely not.

But if you just look at the two of them side by side, the apple will always look more expensive. And that’s enough for phones/computers. Most users don’t really know what they want/need. 3-5 versions and annual releases give people enough illusion of choice they never leave the ecosystem they’re used to.

        Neither could Jobs…

He was a jackass nepo baby who stole everything that wasn’t handed to him.

He was good at marketing, that’s it.

How many times do “investors” have to be taken to finally wise up? IT’S FUCKING RIGGED.

The stock market, real estate, bitcoin, futures, AI… Here’s the dog… here’s the pony… Oh looky mommy - a dog and pony show that looks JUST like the last one!

They know it’s rigged. But every single one of them thinks that they’re the smart, special one who’s going to be able to time it correctly, ride the bubble, and then jump ship right before it pops.

Isn’t this exactly what was expected? I think I am in kind of a bubble because it makes no sense to me that anyone would buy into SpaceX.

Index funds, mainly. The thing about index funds, though, is that they incorporate investments with little to no consideration of the product a given company makes. They just play a meta-game in the market itself with its own rules and conditions, and become attractive investments for portfolios looking for steady, “safe” growth.

          It’s vibes.

Specifically Tinkerbell vibes. If enough people believe stock price will go up, then it goes up.

Musk keeps making money, and enough people just care about that.

The dream of getting in major index funds, is every two weeks the fund buys more of your stock no matter what. That steady growth and his wild swings of market manipulation would be insane.

And lots of people will roll the dice if they can get some scraps. Along with some idiots who dump their life savings into it directly
