        Yup, just got my dual diagnosis at 40. In the US you couldn’t even have a dual diagnosis until like 10 years ago. It doesn’t change my day to day much but it does make me feel better about failing when trying ADHD coping mechanics that just aren’t made for me. Now I can look for specific strategies.

      Some things are symptoms of both autism and ADHD.

      They are not only restricted to autism.

      These comments bother me as much as the ones that say “everyone has that problem” because it is very difficult to carve out a single place for ADHD.

      I was going to comment that. People. Sensory things. Etc. I have strictly add now. AdHd as a kid. I’m really gregarious, outgoing, often the life of the party.

      Interestingly also a possible symptom of dyslexia. Dyslexia and autism habe a weird amount of overlap of you’re “very” dyslexic.
