My take away from the artical was “a 15-kilometre connected waterfront promenade from Rozelle Bay to Woolloomooloo”. I know I have walked a lot of it over the years without thinking it is all connected. Now I want to walk the entire way.
Seagulls are rejoicing everywhere. In anticipation, they are practicing their aggressive swooping.
Oh good! Around 85% of the floating plastic in ocean currents is from fishing, and around 40% of fish caught are bycatch, killed and thrown out. Not to mention bottom trawling releases ~1 Gt of Co2 per year (more than all air travel).
Glad to see that’s the direction we’re moving in.
