So we have been around for a little while now and I was wondering what everyone's thoughts are for our little community. Do you have any ideas for changes, do you like it the way it is, should we open up the rules a bit, or maybe I should activate the delete button more often?

I currently have no plans to change things up, its been a super easy job being a mod here. Please don't take this as I'm looking to overhaul the community at all, just want to know what you all think about the future of PC Gaming. Thoughts and suggestions are welcome

I think it’s been fine here, moderation is only needed when things start to get busy or out of hand. So far most of the posts and comments I’ve seen don’t really call for more moderation or rules.

If there’s one thing to open up, perhaps have a game suggestion thread every now and then. I think having another avenue to more participation would be nice. Could theme it up as well, with a focus on PC’s strengths (FPS, RTSes, sims, etc), or some hardware theme (low spec days come to mind).

I like it the way it is, even if the number of weekly/monthly posts has drastically dropped recently.

However, it is not happening only on PC Gaming; most redditors who left Reddit following the 3rd party apps closure backlash are going back there anyway. My province’s Lemmy community (New-Brunswick) hasn’t seen a new post/thread in the last fifty-ish days.

I know that I should do more to keep the communities I participate in alive but I’m still getting used to Lemmy/Jerboa.

Bottom line, PC Gaming is doing alright. Thanks for your work!
