To continue this chain, they recently also did a comic (western style) modernized retelling of Animal Farm called Animal Pound. It was really good!
They should give a couple countries the power to veto the vetos as part of the checks and balances.
Screw it, we should give power to the pope again by giving Vatican City access to the UN space laser.

The UN wasn’t created to stop war, it was created to stop another World War. Giving a veto to a country that has nukes and/or could sustain an extended war against the rest of the world is primarily meant to achieve this goal. And in that regard, it has worked decently.
And while I think that this being the “best compromise” humanity could make sucks ass. The cold logic of it kinda made sense to me.
Well, to be fair, they didn’t give nothing. The nuke countries just took it.
