When I had looked years ago, just a basic one was $5k. It was the first time I looked up the price of a firearm that wasn’t a Walmart rifle/shotgun. I expected a few hundred; not a few thousand.

This was brand new, of course. Maybe a used one would be cheaper. Especially if it was used in a crime 🤷🏻‍♂️
