A lot of regulation might sound like “just don’t” but if every kid around your kid has a tablet, and there is no rule against tablets, it’s only your kid who will be an outcast.

I’m in general against too much regulation, but like vaccines, sometimes you have to target a whole group to fight a disease. You alone staying away is not viable.

And all of this comes before we even talk about the MASSIVE disadvantage patents have against the mega corps, from the CONSTANT ads, to the targeted manipulation, it’s not a fair fighting field.

It’s crazy good for something FREE. Like infinitely better than any major crop google apple etc because you KEEP your photos. Anything you upload to the cloud is being mined by them.

The only thing I tell people is that you need a cloud backup.

Honestly I use debugger when I have to go deep into some library’s bullshit code. My stuff should be stable clean and understandable enough to quickly see what’s happening with console log.

If I were to find myself needing debugger all the time with breakpoints and all this shit, it means shits has gone sideways and we need to back up and re-evaluate the code.

When I first learned about docker I was sure it was a scam. It sounded too good to be true. It’s literally the meme it only works on my computer so we’ll ship your computer!

The one compromise I’d like to see is for sites to have to provide keywords like in the robot.txt file that says what they serve. So let’s say a site provides porn or gore and a parent wants to block access to it, it should be a simple toggle on the router or browser or both.
