Not true. You still very much have contracts with those companies be it RHEL or Ubuntu. It’s less don’t get me wrong, but not free. Like your small local shop could get away with it, but once you have regulatory oversight, things change.

I make golden images for Windows at work. Everything Microsoft annoys/pissed me off.
I do believe that’s what it used to mean at one point. And it wasn’t just a livable wage as in “well, you won’t die,” like it meant something. Now, it’s simply the lowest amount these companies are legally allowed to pay you w/o using loopholes.
It’s still more than twice the price it should be.

Not the be that prick, but how? If there’s an active shooter, you’re not bulletproof just because you’re a parent. Or are you storming in and going to start shooting yourself? Really curious what your plan is.

Ah yes, let’s flood the 911 lines with panicked kids and then their parents too. Making sure no other emergencies can call 911. Isn’t it great every single other type of emergency a person can have will magically be put on hold until the school situation is cleared up…
Oh, and there’s going to be some kids who will think they need to give regular updates, so they’d likely put themselves in danger in order to “just help”
If it were in real life it would be A. And if the game engine allowed you to move portals, it would also be A.
Get a hula hoop attach a camera to it. Drop hula hoop over something with it being in the middle. Did thing in hula hoop take off? No. Thing had no momentum. It’s velocity versus relative velocity.

I made the list bitches!
For both xbox and playstation, right now, with discs, unless your internet if faster than 200Mbps, discs are faster. Also, installing from disc has no bandwidth caps, which is common in many places.
And if you say “I have faster internet”, good for you buddy. Your experience isn’t shared by everyone around the world.

Oh bless your heart.
Perhaps its different there, Europe has far better general consumer protection policies. But in the US, generally, if someone gets your debit card info, they can drain your account and the bank won’t do anything. The money is gone.
If you can, I’d suggest switching to a credit card and just pay it off every month. The general lack of consumer protection on debit cards is frightening. So many companies put minimum effort in protecting your data.

You don’t need specialized equipment. It’s easy enough to be done at home.

What, how’d you get my IP! You haxxor!?
Fine, call the necromancers!
Sure, but there are already news reports of servers complaining that all the people visiting aren’t tipping for the World Cup. Trying to call it “our culture”. Sure they should be paid normally, but, that’s also something that’s been said for at least the last 2 decades (and probably far longer). If they (servers) are going to keep pushing for tips, businesses keep pushing for tips, and people keep tipping…

They’re not 90%, yet… But just raise the prices and pass the blame has been in fashion pretty hard for the last 6 years.
Oh no, to go back to the prehistoric time of 2021…
