This was interesting when I first saw it, but it’s hard to get past the giant Russian police officer in the room of this being from a studio in a country that is currently committing atrocities against Ukraine.

The studio might indeed be against the war, but it’s hard for me to get over in order to give them a chance.

"Our goal isn’t to create an evil image of the police, but to investigate the issue of responsibility and power,” designer Vladimir Semenets told Polygon back then. “What does it mean to be the biggest policeman in the world and what responsibilities does it impose on you? He tries to be a positive character in this story. But even we don’t know yet if he will succeed in being one.”

And no, being anti police doesn’t really have any relevance to war atrocities

I mean, look, by that logic the policeman image is just completely irelevant, pro or against, to the Russian agression on Ukraine. In other words, what’s left to us is to only presume that they support the invasion on bases of their nationality, something I think is inherently wrong, just as assuming anyone’s attitudes based on race or creed.

This is not a response to what I said, nor is it in any way a rebuttal of my point.

Do you not understand the quote? Are you asking for me to explain it to you?

Playing this game doesn’t mean you support Russia.

Just pirate it if you feel bad about supporting Russia financially
